Abstract The globally distributed computing infrastructure required to cope with the multi-petabyte datasets produced by Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment at Large Hadron Collider (LHC) CERN comprises several subsystems, such as workload management, data transfers, and submission of users’ centrally managed production requests. To guarantee efficient operation whole infrastructure, CMS monitors all subsystems according their performance status. Moreover, we track key metrics evaluate study system over time. monitoring architecture allows both real-time historical a variety sources. It relies on scalable open source solutions tailored satisfy experiment’s needs. We present flow software for applications. discuss challenges, components, current achievements, future developments infrastructure.
